Our school is beginning with hybrid learning, and I want to continue to be able to provide students with a safe and healthy learning environment. The Environmental Protection Agency finds than half of schools in the United States have problems linked to indoor air quality, and that due to their prolonged exposure in these environments, this indoor air can play a role in both students' health and overall performance. The air quality of a classroom can play a major role in both student health and academic success. Many of my students have pre-existing asthma and allergies and now have to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic and airborne viruses. I am requesting Air Purifiers with HEPA filters which will help provide a much cleaner and healthier work environment for all my students but especially for those with asthma and allergies. With Covid-19 and the seasonal flu, these filters are specialized to help reduce airborne bacteria, mold spores, and particles that can carry viruses. This fan/air purifier will really help to clean and circulate the air in the room. This will allow us to have a safer learning environment. Thank you for taking the time to read this project!
