Fractions are a big topic in 5th grade math. Students often struggle with the concept of fractions, but the manipulatives and games I have requested will go a long way towards making fractions fun! Moving from visual to abstract thinking is key to success with fractions. Students will use the white boards, fraction manipulatives, and games to master the concept of fractions. These tools will help to reinforce fraction concepts and provide practice. Small groups of students will enjoy using the fraction tools to work together to make learning fractions fun!
