Our students enjoy participating in the Workshop Model for Reading and Language Arts. In the Workshop Model students are put into small groups based on interest and/or reading level.. The appeal for students is that they can talk with each other about the books. Students make group reading goals and cannot participate in the group discussions unless they have done their reading. Students love it. These book sets will allow our students to read exciting new books in their reading goups. This selection offers much variety. We will have enough books that the kids can have a choice of great books. This will greatly enrich our language arts program.
