My students are active young learners who learn by exploring. I am hopeful to add the manipulative toys in this Donors Choose project to my classroom. These items will help them learn to sort, build, create patterns, work on fine motor skills and so much more. All of these items will be used during morning exploration time. When my students first arrive at school, they unpack and are able to work in small groups. During this time they explore with different manipulative or building toys. I feel this helps them start their day and gets them ready for our literacy circle that follows. I would also use these during math centers to work on some of the skills I listed above. Thank you so much for your consideration on this project.
