Da Enchantment Poetry Society will try to create a creative escape, 2 hour slot, after school on Tuesday evenings. We will, in community, read and digest poetry, in hopes to better understand the world around us. We will support each other in our writing journeys, and gain confidence as a person through the process of revision, and performance. But we need books. We need the words of another person. We need writers to look-up to, mimic, challenge, understand, dissect. We need to research the poems already written, and try writing a new poem; our voices will be training to soar and unfold. Students will not only continue learning, reading, and writing, but they will begin to create!
