Imagine being cramped into a room with 25 other people. There's not a lot of space, so the only place where you can work is sitting at your desk. How long could you work before you became bored? As an adult, it is hard for me to focus for longer than 30 minutes if I am uncomfortable, much less 8 hours. Wobble cushions will make their seats more comfortable and let the students wiggle when they start to get antsy. Wobble cushions will allow my more active students to release some of their energy in a way that won't distract others. I have learned that these cushions aren't just good for younger children but also young teens in the Junior High setting. Without a way to constructively release energy, students can easily lose their focus or worse, become a classroom disruption. These materials will help ALL of my students become more engaged and successful.
