Phonics instruction is an essential component to education, as students develop the skills to read, write, and spell. In first grade, my students are constantly developing, practicing, and applying phonics skills to all aspects of their academics. Providing my students with a variety of interactive phonics materials will allow them to engage in learning activities that best meets their individual needs and interests. Due to this being my second year of teaching, I have not accumulated the resources needed to support the variety of learners in my classroom. This project will allow students of all needs and abilities to develop phonics skills through fun and engaging activities. Your support is greatly appreciated!
