Students in the middle grades often get lost in the small world around them. Opening these students to our big, incredible world early helps these students to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Utilizing technology to enhance their understanding of how connected our world really is will be invaluable. Exploring ancient civilizations through a VR experience brings the past into their modern lives. It gives purpose to our studies and provides them with a lasting experience. Most adults today studied out of text books; the lessons learned disappeared quickly from year to year or even test to test. This learning opportunity provides students with an experience that will be truly memorable. This isn't just a paper book with a paper test. Students will desire to learn through VR, and the effect will be more passionate and excited students. Students will see the pyramids of Egypt, and the ruins of Greece, and they will remember. Please help me make history come alive. Help me provide an exceptional education for all my students, regardless of their economic situation. If I can't bring my students to the world, please help me bring the world to my students.
