This beautiful easel and the accompanying books and storytelling kits will provide my 2nd grade English language learners with a child friendly and fun place to actively practice and hone their language and literacy skills. My students will be able to work in small cooperative groups as they read, listen to, talk about and write about a plethora of engaging big books, poems, pocket chart rhymes and storytelling kits. The rhyme, rhythm, song, language and repetition found in the best of children's literature will motivate my young English learners to interact with and experience language in ways that will allow them to thrive and optimally develop their English skills.

About my class
