I need to update my aged iPads. My students use iPads for so many reasons. Many start their day with 5 minutes of reward iPad time for getting their homework done. A huge motivator for Kindergarten through 4th grades. Other students use it to read social stories to help them function in socially awkward moments. Nonverbal students use our iPads to communicate, all my students use iPads to gain access to online curriculum and assessments. The iPads make it easy for my students with motor issues to be successful with essays or simply writing a sentence. We enjoy spontaneous moments to look up information we have questions about. The world is at their fingertips! By donating to our project, you will help to motivate my students, enable students be successful and ultimately help them increase their social and academic success. My students currently use iPads that are 13 years old and can not be updated. I have put in a request to our tech team year after year to replace them. This rarely ever happens. Please choose to help me give these special little students their opportunity to be successful in so many parts of their day.
