Students achieve more when they believe their work is important and is building skills for life. I set up a classroom environment to foster students working together. The more they work cooperatively, the more they succeed. These beliefs are important to build because being creative, collaborative, and able to work in a team are essential skills that employers want. By donating to this project, you will greatly increase the public speaking and logical thinking skills of these students. Creating spaces around the classroom to support small teamwork will keep students engaged and productive. Giving them a podium will create a professional atmosphere for presenting which will motivate and excite them, distract them from being nervous, and will inspire a sense of wonder and pride in the work they are sharing.
