1st graders have a lot of energy and many of them struggle to sit still or stay in one place for long. The wobbly stools will help students wiggle and move while still listening and learning. Currently, there are about four students who regularly get out of their chairs, wander the room, bounce up and down in their seat, or fall off their chairs. The wobbly stools will help these students regulate their movement effectively. Technology is an integral part of the 21st century and my students deserve the chance to become technologically literate. The headphones will allow us to use iPads in the classroom during centers or stations time. The students will be able to develop math and literacy skills through iPad games.
