This year I have used edu-creations to make videos that correspond with each of my lessons. I want to provide my scholars with the ability to access these videos in class, should they need additional assistance with the concepts I am covering. Our class size are big and sometimes I am not able to get to all of my scholars to address their misconceptions during the allotted time I have with them. The headphones will provide my scholars with more access to the content as they will be able to watch and “listen” to my videos without disrupting the class. In addition, Grade 7 math focuses on ratio and proportion and solving algebraic equations. I love teaching these concepts through the lenses of entrepreneurship. Scholars will form a small crafting business with their selected group to learn about percent of change, profit margins, through the context of ratio and proportions and Algebra. Your donation will be an “investment” in my scholars’ small business as each of them will compete to see who can create the best crafting product using the Cricut machine to raise the most money.
