At our school we do not have a gym for Physical Education class. We use the outside area and have an indoor fitness room. The fitness room is about the size of 3 classrooms with a mirror along one wall. We have music and a TV on the other wall. At this time the room does not have much fitness equipment as this is the first year for this location to be open. These medicine balls with the storage stand and poster will be an amazing addition to our fitness room! We will use the medicine balls for fitness activities as a group and in stations that students would rotate through. The cart will make it easy to put the medicine balls away, take them out, access them for use, and safely push them back into the closet when not being used. I really like how there will be different sizes to choose from. Students will be able to select the ball that fits their level and ability. We will do partner and individual strength training activities throughout the year and for years to come!
