This project will push my students to think outside of the box. Students will watch the film "Dream Big" and take some of the stories into effect when creating a bridge or building. They will design projects based on real-life problems such as buildings to withstand earthquakes. Some of their buildings will need to have the dynamics to resist strong winds. These buildings will be part of real-life natural disaster simulations. My students won't only be able to problem-solve real-world solutions, but will also be able to bring those solutions to life with seeing their finished 3D printed project. They will have to use a growth mindset to work through their designs. Their designs will be a reflection of themselves and their care for what is happening in the world around them.
