This is my first project to try to get funding. Being a single mom, my budget is limited for large projects. I have access to several great book sets in our school, but these are very old “classics." I would like to be able to give my students the opportunity to read newer books as a whole group. Before the holidays, I did my first book tasting and got their feedback about what we should read next. These books were the top books that they begged to read next. I hope to be able to give them their wish and have new books for them to begin our next novel study.
