The Rock Cycle is Earth's great recycling process where igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks can all be derived from and form one another. The rock cycle is ever changing the rocks and minerals that make up Earth. With the use of this specific rock and minerals kit, we will explore this process in light of teaching kids and a bit about how the ground beneath them works. Teaching rocks and minerals can most definitely be a dry science topic, but - it doesn't have to be! Not if you include plenty of hands-on activities, awesome pictures and books, and interactive small group activities. This kit will help provide more of those hands-on activities and small group activities for our students.
