With my current classroom furniture, if I want my students to work together, we have to take the time to re-arrange our desks and seats. By having two flower-shaped, marker top activity tables, and four rectangular tables students will be in the position to collaborate and communicate. The marker topped table provides an area to show their work and problem-solve together. Collaboration, problem-solving, and communication are very important skills for our youth to learn. By providing a learning environment in my classroom that fosters these skills, my students can learn how to be productive and successful when working with others.
