The materials we are ordering are for our summer program, of which we spend a large amount of time outdoors. We encourage the children to enjoy a variety of physical activities and to explore the natural setting. The children absolutely love the days we have water play. We try to do this at least once a week. We chose a variety of items to add to their day to make it more engaging and exciting from week to week. Some of the items we chose for water day were baseball slip and slide, which will encourage taking turns, and gross motor skills, we chose a large variety of balls including soccer goals to help encourage prosocial skills and gross motor skills, and we chose a variety of art materials such as a tye dye kit, and chalk to encourage creativity and fine motor skills. The summer should be fun and educational and we to our best to give the children in our program the best of both worlds!
