My students were blessed with a grant from the Strider Bike Education Foundation. This grant gave us 20 balance bikes, helmets, and optional pedal kits. My students are eager to learn to ride bikes but we have not assembled them because we do not have a safe space to store them. Since many of my students have disabilities impacting their motor skills, this is a wonderful therapeutic opportunity for them. Similarly, so many of my students live in poverty and will not have any other opportunity than at school to learn to ride a bike. Help us learn to ride bikes and build our motor skills. Learning to ride a bike will make a huge impact on my students, however storage is a barrier for us. These sheds will allow my students to have access to the bikes EVERYDAY while we play outside.
