This professional development will directly translate into classroom and school-wide enrichment. This three day conference will offer me the opportunity to learn from special presentations from experts in the field and over 200 concurrent sessions. A few of my post conference goals are: -to share a presentation about second language acquisition innovative practices with my peers at school. -to plan learning experiences for my students based on the latest practices on Bilingual Education. - to provide parents support in the process of raising bilingual and biliterate citizens. In addition, connecting to dual language educators on a global level will provide new resources and contacts, broadening my knowledge base and offering ongoing support long after the conference has ended. This experience will make me a more knowledgeable, globally connected educator. Every dollar you donate deepens my practice, which, in turns benefits my classroom, my school, and my community.
