All too often when we think of math class, we imagine worksheet after worksheet of practice. It gets very boring, very quickly, not to mention with over 40 students, I can go through a lot of paper! Some of my students have asked to bring in their own white boards for practice and I have seen first hand how engaged they are and how quick and easy it is to move on to the next question, or find their mistake, erase, and keep on going. A class set of white boards would benefit my students by stepping away from worksheet and creating an engaging way to practice and show their work in whole group and small group settings. Not only would this project help save many sheets of paper in my class, but it would also help my students take more risks and not be afraid to mess up.. just wipe clean and try again! Thank you so much for considering my project!
