My students love to read graphic novels as well as love to learn about the solar system. These materials allow them to have the opportunity to have these resources at their fingertips. These are vital for the emotional support room because reading as well as learning about the solar system calms my students down. Other items are needed to create a calm environment for them. These materials would allow my students to be able to calm down faster and process situations that are stressful for them and return to their academics. The students that this project is supporting come form a lower social economic environment and the comforts within the classroom I am trying to provide are the difference between them having a good and a bad day.
