The new seating options will meet the sensory needs of our students and assist with their progression academically and socially. For example, a hammock would provide pressure and make them more calm. We will also provide calming light options, and bean bags to have a more flexible work environment for each student. The students will also get more fidgets to help them in the general education classroom to help them stay in there to get the same instruction as their peers. The students can also take the flexible seating options to their classrooms if needed in order for them to get the same instruction.
