For many of my students learning about history means they'll be bored and left out. I want to give them the chance to be involved. The green screen, headphones, and recording stations will be used for audio and video projects. For example, these tools can be used by students to create commercials for New Deal programs during the Great Depression. The Lego's and PLA will be used to create visual models and representations. Modeling tools can be used to help students create memorials for important people and events throughout history. It gives them a chance to think about how things should be remembered. My students are more excited about what they're learning when they are able to do something with it. They want to showcase what they have learned in unique and creative ways. My students have ideas, they just need some more tools.
