The use of hands-on learning is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Using a highly engaging model in math, students come to the community table with their projects for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The robots program will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. This would permit me to problem-solve with students in a visual and hands-on manner. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. In addition, students will learn to work together in a collaborative environment permitting them to practice their social skills. The practice of social skills is a learning goal that's transferable to life outside the classroom.
