I am asking for tablets and headphones for my music classroom. These tablets will allow students to be more creative with music on an individual level. Right now, we are only able to use music technology as a class on our projector. This means that we can only have one student take a turn at a time. The tablets will allow for us to have small groups and centers where students can have longer turns and be more engaged in activities that range from creating music to practicing rhythms and going over musical symbols and note placement. The headphones will allow this to happen while other students are participating in other activities. They will help with volume control and make the class run more smoothly. These items will help bring our music class to the next level of learning! A lot of these students have never experienced music this way. This would be a brand new concept for them to learn about and use in their future musical endeavors!
