This class will be held in the spring. We will be riding our bikes from our high school to the local river. While at the river, we will start with working on the different types of casts and different types of poles that can be used while fishing. We will also be talking about the different lures that can be used while fishing. The day will conclude with biking back to the school. Many students in our district have never gone fishing. With this lack of experience, we will need to practice with some reliable beginner fishing poles. I am excited to watch how this first unit turns out with a new group of students.
