Having these Sphero robots in my classroom will offer my students a hands-on learning experience when figuring how to program the device to do what they want it to do. They can manipulate it and use trial and error to perfect their craft, and hone in on the specifics and details required in coding. While most coding takes place on a computer, Sphero activities can give the students a real-world scenario of what they could do in the field of robots outside of the classroom. They may see an interest or opportunity right before their eyes that they never realized was there. With the major advancements in technology today, more and more students are interested in computers and coding, and I would like to offer them hands-on learning in as many aspects as possible.
