Just picture 15 students reading in silence. All cell phones are tucked away and the readers are completely engaged. Students need to have quality literature presented to them daily for them to pick it up and read. So many students are addicted to their phones and they need to see the alternative to looking at a phone screen. If I had quality literature in my room then I would be able to help low and reluctant readers to find success in school. Headphones would be great too so that my students could also listen to audio books. Thank you so much
