Elementary School and Exploration Place share a special STEM-bond! When Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) were adopted in Kansas in 2013, oue school and Exploration Place worked hand-in-hand to provide students with exciting, NGSS-aligned, hands-on science. They will become engineers, mathematicians, and animal enthusiast. Data collected by Exploration Place demonstrates that participating students far exceeded peers at other schools in excitement and interest toward science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) subjects. This partnership has served as a model for other schools in the region who also wanted to see their students ahead of the curve and become life-long learners.
