Having technology in our classroom will help my students in many aspects. Students will be able to learn, using learning games and lessons to see how technology can be incorporated not only in school but in their lives. Using the Amazon fire tablets students will be able to enhance their letter recognition, number recognition, rhyming, counting, and much more. I plan to add apps and games that are relevant to the learning goals of our school and to better prepare them for success in Kindergarten. The product I have selected will give students a different opportunity to experience learning in a new way! The technology can also be used for some students that need a break or alone time. Having a moment to step away but still learn, can be a easier method for misbehaviors or very little interest with a lesson.
