This year our school has expanded our K3 special education program to include two sections of young learners with high needs. My classroom is in need of durable materials that young students with autism and other developmental delays can use with limited frustration. I have chosen some toys that are educational, brightly colored, durable, and many are magnetic. These materials are perfect with students with special needs as they grab their attention, do not come apart easily, and are easier to manipulate than materials without the magnetic component. We will be teaching our little learners how to use toys and take turns.
