Hello and welcome to my wonderful classroom where I service 5th and 6th-grade special education students. In my class, they learn Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies. My students are funny, creative and hungry to learn more. I try my best to make learning fun for them by incorporating art into their learning as much as possible (because who doesn't love drawing and/or building?) This last year was one for the book and still, I was able to incorporate art into my lessons. This year will be a great year for art in class to support students not only in their learning but in restorative learning to support the children in whatever they may need to recover from over a year without being in school.
