I teach Special Education Math. Many of my students benefit from hands-on activities and projects. They enjoy using manipulatives that help them during these activities. Some topics that are covered in my class are addition, subtraction, multiplication, and money. Having these materials in my class will be amazing. The students will use them, and it would help them solve a variety of math problems. Most of my students rely on manipulatives and visuals to gain an understanding of math concepts. As a teacher, I want to provide my students with an opportunity to learn and be engaged because math is all around us.
