2nd grade students need flexible seating choices that aid them in being more comfortable in the classroom. They are there for 8 hours a day! Since we spend the majority of our time in the classroom, I want my students to be as comfortable as they can! When students are more comfortable, they are able to better focus and retain the information they are learning. Having the freedom to choose their own type of seating also allows for a better classroom environment and community. They feel more involved and a greater sense of belonging.

About my class
