Many students or parents are unable to purchase the necessary supplies needed for their classes. Weekly, if not daily, we use colored pencils, glue, or scissors to complete foldables or other activities. When students are unable to provide their own they are provided by me. This is a very costly expense throughout the year. We also "loan" or give students writing utensils, paper, and other supplies all throughout the day almost daily. Funding this project would help eliminate some of the out of pocket costs from the teacher. When teaching as many students as we teach in high school, organization is also an important factor to help the students. Keeping papers organized and supplies organized helpt the students to know where to easily find anything they need.
