I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference in the area of math and classroom engagement. This conference will allow me to gain new strategies for teaching math that I can implement in my classroom. I am confident that the knowledge I will gain from this conference will help me to become an even more effective teacher. The knowledge I will attain from this experience will benefit my students for years to come. Great teachers never stop learning. As I learn from the conference and provided materials, I am also able to share the books and resources with other teachers! It is my hope that this experience will recharge my love for the classroom and fuel my passion to educate Detroit's youth!
