The students I teach are students with Autism and are Intellectually Delayed. Along with these learning challenges, there are other issues that impact their learning. They also have other disabilities that make them struggle academically and socially. These students are taught with Evidence Based Research Strategies. The Unique Learning System is one of them. This learning platform allows differentiation for all learners. There are options for the lesson to be read to them and pictures with words can be accessed for those who need this modification. The student work very hard. The classroom is structured and the students are on a point system for motivation. By allowing myself to create a good re pore with them, they know I am here for them and I care about their success. I have been this kind of instructor for ten years. I am passionate about my teaching and know that I have the best students in the entire school!
