More and more, students are engaging with technology. My students have the opportunity to engage with technology at several points throughout their day, however my students do not have the appropriate materials to be successful with technology. Struggling readers will have the opportunity to engage with grade level, high-interest texts by listening to those texts using their new headphones.My students will also use headphones to engage in computer based reading programs as well as listening to downloadable books. I know that I can foster a love for reading and learning by making education more accessible to my most struggling learners. The headphones that I have selected will help my students participate in district required computer-based reading programs as well as read along with high-interest downloadable books.
