The flexible seating I am requesting is for helping my students that struggle to focus and staying in their own space. While our classroom is large, sometimes it is hard for some students to have a space of their own without being distracting or disruptive to others. These will also give those students who do not struggle an incentive of something different to use on a daily basis. Being stuck in the same spot for up to 2 hours at one time while having the expectation to focus is nearly impossible for 7 year-olds to do. Having this flexible seating will allow my wiggle worms to stay on task and wiggle, without being a distraction to their peers around them. The wobble seats are a way for them to move around without actually getting out of their seat.
