My class is a 12:1 self contained Kindergarten class. Due to our small class size, we have a smaller classroom which makes it difficult for us to have a full carpet in our class. My students would benefit from sitting on carpet squares to help them foster a sense of community in our classroom as well as to allow students to be closer to the board. Carpet squares would also help because students would be able to keep a safe social distance away from each other during our group lessons.
