The addition of iPads will become a tool to help create an authentic learning experience and build skills that our children need while our digital world is evolving. My students will be able to become a big part of "Hour of Code." Only 45% of high schools teaching computer science, but my 1st grade students are on their way to changing this! My students will be able to create projects collaboratively and demonstrate true understanding of concepts. I believe they should not be limited to real-world skills because of lack of funding or scarce resources, rather be given the opportunity to be on the same level as students who do have access to technology. My students would be grateful to be able to access technology on a daily basis!
