This 3D printer will allow students to design and quickly test solutions to everyday problems, create models of human body systems, and even support our rocket design process. My students will be able to learn and understand a technology that is going to transform the future. 3D printing is a manufacturing process that builds objects layer by layer and is important because it allows students to come up with an idea, quickly build it, test it, and cheaply make modifications to their idea. This technology has changed the engineering world and it will allow these students to change our world for the better, one innovation at a time.

About my class
