We will have hands-on experiences of dissecting sheep plucks. We have read about the heart and the lungs and watched body systems, now I want the students to experience the organs hands-on. Hopefully, this experience will inspire future doctors and veterinarians as well as instilling a love for science. Each year we end the science standards of teaching body systems and their functions with dissections of each organ. The sheep pluck combines the heart and the lungs. Help my students be able to experience dissecting organs and obtain a love for science.
