"Do you have any more Magic Tree House or Junie B. Jones books I can read?" This question is asked everyday several times a day. Unfortunately, the answer is generally no. Being a brand new school, our book selection is minimal, but the area that is suffering the most is the early chapter books. Somehow this area was not considered when the books were ordered for the Library. We have basically 20 books for this reading level for a school that has almost 700 students, K-6th. In this selection was only one Magic Tree House book and not one Junie B. Jones book. A few very old worn paperbacks have been donated and so the selection has increased to around 40. It would help tremendously to add these books to the selection. This would definitely boost the morale for reading for our early chapter book readers because they would actually have books on the shelf that they are asking for.
