This class set on Into the Wild will engage students in literature and provide opportunities to take our classroom outside into the natural world. Most of my students prefer being out of doors, so finding a relevant way to engage their interests while still providing an educational setting would be extremely advantageous. 50% of our students have scored Basic or Below Basic on our state test. I am looking for creative ways to get my students reading as much as possible. Actively guiding students into the literary analysis as well as strengthening reading comprehension and endurance are among my primary learning goals for these scholars.
