As we continue to implement and adjust small group learning, we have noticed that we are in need of some materials that will keep the students engaged during work time. Each item already has a purpose as we continue to strive for everyone to meet their NWEA end of year goals. Flexible seating will allow the student a chance to read in a different setting versus having to stay at their seats to read. The pencils and highlighters are to continue to help us work hard daily in the classroom during instruction time. The plastic containers and building set will allow students to have a STEM station during math to give them a small break while they are going through small groups. This will also be used in the mornings during Morning Work. Lastly, the books will be a reward for my students' hard work on their middle of the year-round of NWEA.
