My students love books. They want to read. To read longer and enjoy it, I want them to feel comfortable . The more relaxed they are the longer 5hey will read. Sitting on the carpet or on a chair can be limiting to the time that they might otherwise read if they are sitting on a cushioned item like the bean bag. Reading is such a crucial skill for my students to develop. I want my students to feel that reading is not a physical burden but a enjoyable mental activity . I think bean bags will give them the comfort they need and deserve to sit and it will r ability to last longer and motivate them to read more books and longer time.
