The rug will be used create a clean and comfortable space for our group read alouds and interactive class discussions. The loungers will be placed in our classroom library along with other flexible seating options in an effort to create a homey and inviting learning environment in which my students can read independently or in small groups. Currently, my students have the option of sitting on the floor or in traditional plastic classroom chairs and my goal is to create a more relaxed and inviting environment for them to share the joys of learning and exploration.
